 HADRIAN TWINE | THE DRONE Born Lewis Puckett, his mother's bloodline had long been overshadowed by bigger names more interested in taking and keeping their power. Giving birth to a set of twins was not necessarily a sign of power, but it soon became clear that ambitious hands would like to take them as their own for their potential. Their mother could only save one, and Lewis was taken into the Malfosse cabal to become a drone. Procedures required him to eat witches' flesh to either gain power or die trying, and after months and years of being fed what had killed many men before him, Lewis gained enough tolerance to be considered worthy. The queen of the cabal claimed him herself, and his real name was devoured to make him her property and one of the highest ranked among his own. Now called Hadrian, he has long become indifferent to the rituals and duties demanded of him, known for having produced a worthy descendant or two and making a show of his ego whenever possible, as long as he remembers his place. |
